You can permanently delete your Venera account and its associated data at any time, directly from within the app. Deletion is immediate — there is no waiting period.
How to delete your account
- Open the Venera app and go to Settings.
- Scroll down to the Danger Zone.
- Tap Delete Account.
- Confirm in the popup to permanently delete your account.
What gets deleted
When you confirm, the following is removed from our production systems immediately:
- Your account and login credentials (email / Apple ID).
- Your identity — mood, outfit, color, name, and any profile details.
- Your chat messages and matches.
- Your live location and derived region data.
- Your device and push notification tokens.
Your account cannot be recovered after deletion. We do not retain a copy of your personal data, except where a limited retention is required for legal or safety reasons.
Uninstalled the app?
If you no longer have the app installed and cannot complete the steps above, email us and we will delete your account and all associated data on your behalf. Please write from the email address linked to your account.
